1. How technology affects communication positively and negatively?

Communication is the most important key in building good relationships between individuals. Effective communication is highly dependent on one's skill in sending and receiving messages. As we know, the old and the present way of communication is not the same anymore. In this modern era, we are helped to keep in touch with everyone by technology. Even the technology itself can give us positive things and also negative things. With technology, communication can be easily involved. We do not have to meet people who is far away to talk about important things. We can communicate with them via chatting, email, voice call or maybe video call.

For example, if we make an agreement with someone or company, we do not have to meet them in person if the distance was too far to be reach. We can send the MOU or something like that to email and get the person or company's sign.And the good thing is we can rechech and correct our words before say it to another person.

But the negative things are, sometimes we can not appereciate someone's existence because we used to talk with them not in person but via technology like what I have mentioned before. The people who is depended with technology, sometimes can not socialize in real life. What a pity :( And well, sometimes the technology becomes laggy and it distresses us. Is it right?


2. Why listening is such a big challenge for most people?

Communication is the most important key in building good relationships between individuals. Effective communication is highly dependent on one's skill in sending and receiving messages. We have watched so many projects or corporate programs were jammed in the middle of the progress just because miscommunication of its members.

The simplest and most frequent problem arises in the lack of listening skills in communicating. Listening skills should accompany the skill of asking in effective communication. Because as good as any communication to a person without accompanied by the ability to hear the communication is not effective.

Sometimes, people listening to someone's speech is just for replying what the other people have said. So they don't focus on what the other people mean.

Parai Beach Bangka Belitung

In my whole life, I've visited 3 beautiful beaches. Those are Parai Beach in Bangka Belitung, Kuta Beach in Bali and a beach that I forgot the name in Pekalongan. But my favorite one is Parai Beach in Bangka Belitung. I visited Parai Beach when I was 8 years old. It has been a long time but I will never forget its beauty. I visited that beach with my big family from my father. It was the most beautiful holiday that I've ever felt. So, here is the description about my favorite beach. Unfortunately, I didn't keep any photos when I was there :(

Parai Tenggiri Beach is located in Matras Sungailiat, about 40 kilometers from Depati Amir Airport, Pangkalpinang. This beach is the most popular beach and exclusive in Bangka Belitung. This beach has beautiful scenery and has smooth wave. You can play along the beach with white sand and also green water.

In this beach, you can see so much granite rocks along the beach that you won't see in the other beaches. This is so unique. And it makes the scenery of this beach seems different and more awesome. The visitors can also sit at the top of the coral rocks while enjoying the scenery of the beach. In the night, the visitors can enjoy the sky light and the light from little boats that sail in the sea. You can enjoy the meal like fried taro, fried banana with cheese, red pumpkin kolak, or another warm drinks that can be bought from the restaurant around.

This beach has resort with 4 stars hotel, the name is Parai Beach Resort. The facilities are reserved, start from acomodation, restaurant, bar and grill, cafe, swimming pool and even sport and leisure. This beach also reverves cottage, outbond area and also another water sport you can get here.

Because of its beauty, many tourist has visited this beach just to enjoy, see the scenery, walk along the white sand, see the big granite rocks in the middle of the water, swimming in the sea or swimming pool, sunbathing, playing banana boat with their family, diving, and another sport water.

Beside of enjoying the beautiful nature, the visitors can also do maritime recreation which is interesting. For the people who like fishing, this beach rents boats and the equipment. Like I said before, if you like challenge, you can try banana boating or parasailing. You can also do diving to enjoy the beauty of the coral aroung the beach, If you wanna try parasailing or diving but you dont't have any experience, you don't have to worry. Because there are so much coach who is ready to teach you and make you safe.

A few years later, I watched Laskar Pelangi movie in Cinema. And I was so excited because the shooting of that movie was taken in Parai Beach. I felt so lucky because I've been there before the movie was released.

And my favorite thing in this beach is the clear water, the sunset and watching the fishes jumping to the big rock. That was so interesting for me.
